(NEW YORK) Rapper/actor Ice Cube is finishing up his first solo set in four years. |

The conceptual double album, War & Peace, will be released in two parts: The 17-track War will come out Nov. 17, while Peace will break out in early 1999. A homage to West Coast hip-hop and funk, War will feature cameos by rhymers Master P, Mack 10, and Mr. Short Khop.

The set's first single, "Ghetto Vet," will hit the streets this month. In addition, Ice Cube will be performing the material live as part of Korn's Family Values Tour, which will start Sept. 22 in Rochester, N.Y.
