(NEW YORK) - Actor/musician/author Henry Rollins has joined the cast of Warner Bros.' film Frost.|

The Hollywood Reporter writes that in the picture, which stars Michael Keaton and Kelly Preston, Rollins plays an eager, aggressive coach of a children's hockey team; fellow musician Dweezil Zappa also makes a cameo appearance in the movie as an A&R man.

The former lead vocalist of seminal punk group Black Flag, Rollins has in recent years reinvented himself as a spoken-word artist, author, and front man for hard rock act the Rollins Band. Previously signed to the now-defunct Imago label, he inked a deal with DreamWorks Records last year and is currently touring in support of his newest album, Come In & Burn, released in March 1997.

Random House will also publish a compilation of his writings, The Portable Henry Rollins, later this month; most of Rollins' other books have been issued by his own 2.13.61 imprint.
