Album Reviews
This tribute to the late outlaw remembered for his 1978 anthem "Take This Job and Shove It" but revered for his hardcore Sixties honky-tonk deftly bridges the two eras. Wilco's Jeff Tweedy shares a playful "Shove It" with country vets Radney Foster, Bobby Bare and Buck Owens, and Neko Case nails Paycheck's early autobiographical admission "If I'm Gonna Sink, I Might As Well Go to the Bottom.
