No "Maneater '03" to be found here, but some of this is as cheesily catchy as their Eighties hits, if a little slicker and more jazzy. Your mom will totally love it.

Daryl Hall & John Oates show their singing prowess and songwriting/producing talent in this long-awaited stroke of brilliance in their latest in a long list of great albums in "Do It For Love".

The title track was #1 on the Adult Contemporary charts at both Billboard and Radio & Records. The second release "Forever For You" was in the A/C top ten and is a much requested wedding song.

Daryl & John make the most of their 30+ year musical collaboration with plenty of great music on this album.

"Do It For Love" uses more acoustic sounds but with a lot of complementary energy in songs like "Make You Stay". The power-love ballad "Something About You", the rocking "Man on A Mission" and the title track "Do It For Love" are the best tracks.

John Oates' "Love In A Dangerous Time" is his best since 1980's "How Does It Feel To Be Back".

Todd Rundgren makes an appearance on "Someday We'll Know" with John singing lead.

People who are disenchanted with much of today's music won't have any trouble liking this effort right out of the box.

Watch for the bonus track "It Must Be" on this album. The early releases won't have it. It's a must have.

Another bonus is a 12" vinyl singe available with remixes of "Intuition". It's worth a search.
