Ever since Goldfinger decided ska was a fad, this Los Angeles quartet has turned out increasingly bright and generic pop punk. The band's fifth album is long on rote melodies and slickly produced SoCal stomp, with singer-guitarist John Feldmann spitting fuck-up stories and deep feelings that most Good Charlotte fans would find trite.
