Your Turn

I've been listening to 8 Diagrams all week, I'm a die hard Wu fan who happened upon the album. It's so good I'm still buying it when it hits stores. It's the strongset hip-hop album released in years. I was dissapointed Watch your mouf wasn't on it but the tracks that did make it are amazing. The opening track is a dark Wu classic, track 2 is reminiscent of a Cuban Linx joint. But it's from track 4 the ablum really kicks off. The Beatles joint is a different recording to the one they leaked on the net and the production is massive on that track. Tracks 7-8 strong tracks, track 9 an obscure RZA track, sounds beautiful and his rhymes are heartfelt. Track 10 is the closest to a 'song' you'll hear from the Wu. Track 11 is heavy and dirty 12 & 13 typical Wu bangers to get dark to. Then Life Changes, beautiful track amazing rhymes, GFK missing though. Then after their closing album song there's the track I read about, the lost tape that was found and RZA did a good job of cleaning it up to an audible representation. With Mef and ODB rhymes you already know but ODB sounds hype. I love this album. Hip-hop aint dead, it's Wu-Tang
