Early this morning, Frank Black and the Catholics had their trailer, which contained all of their gear, stolen. The bandits made off with approximately $60,000 to $75,000 in equipment from the parking lot of the Lester, Pennsylvania Econo Lodge (just outside of Philadelphia).

The pilfered gear includes several Fender Telecaster guitars from the late Fifties and Sixties, Vox Amps AC 30s, two pedal steel guitars, a 1972 Fender Precision bass, a Gibson Les Paul Rose Top and an entire drum kit.

The band, currently on tour in support of the recently released Dog in the Sand, is asking fans to help out by scouring pawn shops and online trading sites for the missing gear.
