Foxy Doesn't Want to be Violated Anymore
Foxy Brown is looking to leave her label and management firm, Violator Records
Foxy Brown's spokeswoman has announced that Firm representative Fox
Boogie is looking to break away from her label| and management
firm, Violator Records, and sever all ties with its CEO, Chris
Lighty. Chris Lighty, who was recently named number 12 in The
Source's Power 30, has managed a number of hip-hop's most prominent
artists, including Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep, A Tribe Called Quest,
Missy Elliot, Cam'Ron, and Noreaga. "She's not working with
[Violator] at all, and that name will be removed from all videos
and advertisements," Brown's publicist Marvette Britto told
Billboard Bulletin, and summarized, "She does not want to be
affiliated with Chris Lighty."
