Watcha Tour Reels in Fishbone

L.A. funk-thrashers Fishbone join Latin music festival

The inaugural Watcha Tour (Warped's Latin music spin-off) was left without a headliner last month when Los Angeles hip-hoppers Cypress Hill bowed out to concentrate on their next album. L.A. funk-thrashers Fishbone have now signed on to fill that void. Fishbone is an unlikely choice for Watcha, which celebrates Latin music and features such Spanish-speaking acts as Control Machete, Viva Malpache and Molotov, but apparently the tour that calls itself "music without borders" is practicing what it preaches. Watcha debuts on Aug. 1 in Pompano Beach, Fla., and will visit fifteen U.S. cities.
