Club and theater run starts tomorrow

Former Lemonheads frontman Evan Dando kicks off a cross-country tour in support of Baby I'm Bored in Providence, Rhode Island, tomorrow. The fifteen-date outing is now confirmed to run through a June 29th stop in Solano Beach, California.

Baby I'm Bored, released last month, is Dando's first album since the Lemonhead's last gasp, 1996's Car Button Cloth. In the time off, Dando struggled to beat his drug and alcohol problems and get his life and music on track.

"I worked really, really, really, really hard on this record, and I think it's pretty darn good," he told Rolling Stone. "Since September 11th, I wake up every day -- well, most days -- and I'm, like, fuckin' alive. I have all my limbs. You know? I've got to make the most of this."
