Vedder, Keys Honor Hall Entrants

Jewel, Chilis, Jacob Dylan also to help induct Class of 2002

Eddie Vedder will induct the Ramones into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in New York City next week. Other artists tapped for the event include Alicia Keys, who will induct Isaac Hayes; Red Hot Chili Peppers members Anthony Kiedis and John Frusciante, who will introduce the Talking Heads; and Wallflowers frontman Jakob Dylan, who will induct Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Jay-Z, Brian Setzer and Steve Cropper will be among the performers.

Also making guest appearances will be Jewel, who will induct Brenda Lee, and Darlene Love who will do the honors for Gene Pitney. Chet Atkins, who died last June, will be honored in the sidemen category by Marty Stuart.

The seventeenth annual Rock Hall induction and dinner is scheduled for March 18th at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. The event will air on VH1 on March 20th.
