Album Reviews
Executive-produced by Lil Jon, the ninth album from this Bay Area MC -- who claims to have coined catchphrases like "fo'shizzle" and "It's all good" -- is all about "hyphy," a manic West Coast version of crunk with nimbler flows, more danceable beats and a more defined sense of humor. On cuts such as the anti-wire-tapping "They Might Be Taping," the mix of witty rhymes and hooky beats makes for hip-hop with a highly developed pleasure principle.

I'm from the Bay, so, yes, I had to cop this album....Great production...Great lyrics...and it slaps...a glimpse of the future...along with Bay up and comers like F.A.B. Keak da Sneak, but my favorite...Alpha Leo...the God lyricist.
