DMX enlists Durst, Smash Mouth go live on the Web and more

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is in New York this week to record a new collaboration with DMX for the soundtrack to the upcoming film, Undisputed . . . Concerts by Smash Mouth and Five for Fighting will air on www.musicchoice.com; the former can be downloaded from December 17th through the 30th and the latter from November 26th through December 2nd . . . Biohazard will hit the road on November 15th in their hometown of Brooklyn, New York, for their thirty-two-date Uncivilization North American Tour . . . Goldfrapp will kick off a seven-date North American tour on November 24th in Toronto . . . R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck's trial on charges of assault and public drunkenness began on Monday and is expected to run through the week . . .

Missouri rapper Pretty Willie, who recorded the hit single, "Roll Wit Me," will release his first album, Enter the Life of Suella, in March . . . Mick Fleetwood and His All-Star Blues Band will perform a charity concert tomorrow at the House of Blues in Los Angeles to benefit the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund; Fleetwood's auction house, Fleetwood Owen is also hosting a new auction that includes guitars owned by Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora and Oasis' Noel Gallagher and a cowboy hat owned by Madonna . . . Brandy will release "What About Us?," the first single from her upcoming album in December; the album is due February 2002 . . . Raul Malo will launch a twelve-date tour behind his solo debut, Today, on November 24th in Minneapolis . . .

Britney Spears will speak with U.S. soldiers via satellite during her November 18th performance in Las Vegas. The show will be aired on Armed Forces networks around the world . . . U2 will release Elevation 2001: Live From Boston on DVD/VHS on December 4th . . . Mick Jagger will perform for 700 guests at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on November 15th to celebrate the upcoming release of his new album, Goddess in the Doorway . . . George Harrison's new single, "Horse to Water," will be released as a single later this month . . . Tim McGraw will join 'N Sync for their The Atlantis Concert in the Bahamas, which will air on November 23rd on CBS . . . Don Henley and Sheryl Crow will join Stevie Nicks for the Stevie Nicks and Friends Benefit Concert on December 6th in Phoenix, which will aid the Arizona Heart Institute Foundation . . .

Pennywise has rescheduled a tour that was cancelled in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks; the new dates start January 16th in Columbus, Ohio . . . Best Buy is offering 'N Sync bobblehead dolls through the holiday season, with proceeds going towards New York City relief efforts . . . Huey Lewis and the News performed at a benefit for the Willie Mays' Say Hey Foundation, a youth charity, in San Francisco on November 10th . . . Alicia Keys, Shaggy and Tim McGraw have joined the lineup for the 2001 Billboard Music Awards, which are set for Las Vegas on December 4th . . .
