Their latest album, Hand It Over, has been called by many as their most eclectic to date including string and brass instruments, and now Dinosaur Jr is ready to show North America how great that music is live.|

Dinosaur Jr begins their tour on Oct. 22 in New Orleans at the House of Blues and plays 14 more shows before settling down again in Cambridge, Mass., at the Middle East. Joining the core of Dinosaur, J. Mascis, are longtime bassist and drummer Mike Johnson and George Berz. Members of My Bloody Valentine will also tour with the band. (Ari Bendersky)
