Album Reviews
Although Interpol's "Direction" disappoints with tedious repetition, Six Feet Under's second soundtrack installment includes worthier exclusive cuts from the Arcade Fire and Jem that suit the show's close familiarity. Well-selected chestnuts from Nina Simone and Irma Thomas sit comfortably alongside Radiohead and Coldplay, but Caesars' otherwise respectful cover of "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" inexplicably lacks cowbell.

A show this good deserves a soundtrack this good. With tracks from Sia, Death Cab for Cutie, Radiohead and Imogen Heap, they certainly fit the mood for the morid-obsessed show with beautiful songs like Sia's "Breathe Me" and the sing-along lighters-up track for Death Cab's "Transalanticism."
