I have a hard time deciding whether The Photo Album or Transatlanticism is my favorite DCFC album. They both have great songs - Transatlanticism is one solid block of very likable songs with some REALLY good ones. But The Photo Album's "A Movie Script Ending" and "We Laugh Indoors" are easily my two favorite Death Cab songs, the latter possibly my favorite song off any album I own. They start off the album on a high note, and then are followed by four more good ones. The album ends a little slow, like the last two songs were added to make a full-length release, but the rest of the album is great. If you like Death Cab, you need this album.

The album where DCFC moves away from the cluttred songs of their previous two efforts and begins to write excellent pop songs. "A Movie Script Ending" builds and crashes with a terrific chorus. "Styrafoam Plates" oozes with anger at an absent father and "Why'd You Want To Live Here" is the best dis song directed at LA this side of Randy Newman.
