"I'm really looking forward to it," says British singer-songwriter David Gray, who has announced that he will drag his unique stylings of pop and electronica across the pond for a thirty-three-date North American tour, to begin April 12th in Minneapolis. "That's the next big thing," Gray says. "That'll be great, doing a proper show in Radio City and Universal Amphitheater."

In addition to these New York and Los Angeles gigs, Gray will perform two-night stands in San Francisco and Seattle on this, his fourth and most encompassing cross-country jaunt since the March 2000 release of his critically praised album, White Ladder, and his radio-friendly single "Babylon." But, even though White Ladder is still climbing the charts, Gray is especially enthused about giving American audiences a sampling of his most-recent writings. "Right now I'm working on a new record," says Gray, "so when we come over for the tour, there'll be loads of new songs in the set."
