Eurythmics Frontman Hosts Day in the Life

If you could spend twenty-four voyeuristic hours peeping into the life of a rock star, you'd probably choose one prone to gratuitous nudity -- or at least one likely to pass out in his or her own vomit once or twice. |

Well, we can't offer you that -- until we figure out a way to smuggle hidden cameras into Marilyn Manson's lair -- but we can tip you off to a unique twenty-four-hour webcast hosted by Eurythmics founder and multimedia savant Dave Stewart.

Beginning at 7 p.m. (EST) Monday, "A Day in the Life of Dave Stewart" will follow the singer/songwriter/funny haircut owner through a variety of experiences, including a live concert and several software demos (including one item that will allow technically adept types to jam along with Stewart in real time).

A nip into www.davestewart.com will offer visitors a chance to get up close and personal with the artist in a number of other unique ways -- although unlike fellow web-head Ana Voog, Stewart's sexual peccadilloes will remain private.

His songwriting process will be on full display, however, and fans will be able to take a crack at collaborating with Stewart, who will choose a theme or title and ask for lyric suggestions from fans that can be sent via e-mails and "Sly Fi" bulletin boards. If all goes as planned, Dave will record the personalized song and have it available for free download within just a few hours. Now, if he'd only offer that kind of turnaround time on quantum physics dissertations, he might actually make a few bucks on the proposition.
