WHAT TO EXPECT:
As in most
years, the Dave Matthews Band will spend their summer on the road,
this time debuting songs from their new album, Big Whiskey and
the GrooGrux King (out June 2nd). The six-month tour, which
includes two nights at Boston's Fenway Park, will be the first
without saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who died last August.
(Multi-instrumentalist Jeff Coffin will replace him onstage.) I
don't think I'm ever going to get over his absence," says Matthews.
"He still inspires me."
