Cracker Get Crackin'

David Lowery begins work on next Cracker album

Posted Jan 16, 2001 12:00 AM

Cracker are in the middle of recording their fifth album. The band's as-yet-untitled studio recording will be their first since 1998's Gentleman's Blues, though they released Garage d'Or, a compilation of some of the band's best-known tracks combined with B-sides and other assorted rarities, in March 2000.

Cracker frontman David Lowery has also been tapped by Counting Crows to produce their next album. Lowery previously worked with the band, producing their third studio album, This Desert Life, in 1999.
