Syndication (SYN) The Magic Hour: Magic interviews the brothers Hanson, who perform their new hit "River."

PBS Charlie Rose: Talk show host Rose interviews VH1 President John Sykes. Kids, make sure you tape this one!

CBS The Late Show with David Letterman: Musical guests the Cherry Poppin' Daddies do their swing thang, while guitarist Jimmie Vaughan sits in with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra.

Much Music (MM) Something On The Tragically Hip: Canadian superstars the Tragically Hip perform in a concert at the Centennial Ballroom in London, Ontario (rerun; also airs on Much USA).

TUESDAY, JULY 14

NBC Late Night with Conan O'Brien: Conan welcomes musical guest Roger Daltrey of Who fame -- and still-singing-Who-songs fame.

MTV FANatic: Fans are yanked out of their daily life to interview their favorite stars; this episode features the Wallflowers and Cindy Crawford.

MM The New Music: Artists spotlighted in this episode include Copyright, Asian Dub Foundation, Moist frontman David Usher, Air, Puff Daddy and LL Cool J. Also includes a look back at an October, 1981 segment featuring Jim Kerr of Simple Minds (also airs on Much USA).

CNN Showbiz Today: Trisha Yearwood performs live in the L.A. studio; Liv Tyler (daughter of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler) talks about her role in Armaggedon and about growing up as the child of celebrities; Courtney Love and MTV president Judy McGrath announce MTV Video Music Awards move back to Los Angeles.

NBC The Tonight Show with Jay Leno: Jay welcomes the phenomenally successful Matchbox 20.

NBC Late Night with Conan O'Brien: Conan welcomes wacky piano rockers Ben Folds Five.

VH1 Hard Rock Live: VH1 kicks off a new season with an hour-long performance by the Pretenders. (rerun)

FRIDAY, JULY 17

CBS The Late Show with David Letterman: Dave welcomes musical guests Tricky and PJ Harvey.

VH1 Hard Rock Live: Concert footage featuring Third Eye Blind, Natalie Imbruglia and Savage Garden.

ABC In Concert: Oasis perform their hits, "Live Forever," "Don't Look Back in Anger" and "Some Might Say" at a concert in their home town of Manchester. The Squirrel Nut Zippers perform their unique brand of party music in Denver with the songs, "Hell" and the crowd-pleasing "Put A Lid On It." (rerun)

SATURDAY, JULY 18

DIS 'N Sync In Concert: Teen sensations 'N Sync are captured in performance and having fun at Walt Disney World and Disney's Animal Kingdom in the band's hometown of Orlando, Fla.

VH1 The RuPaul Show: RuPaul welcomes musical guest Mary J. Blige, who performs "Seven Days."

BET Teen Summit: Talk show includes performances by Big Pun, WC and Mya.

SUNDAY, JULY 19

CNN WorldBeat: A look at Lilith Fair from the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey; also, the B-52's.

HBO2 Reverb: Highlights from the second season featuring Third Eye Blind, the Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, Sugar Ray, Smashmouth, Paula Cole, Semisonic, Everclear, Save Ferris, The Urge, Goldfinger, Cheap Trick, Bad Religion, Primus and Rocket from the Crypt.

VH1 Behind The Music: Singer/songwriter Harry Chapin made a career out of setting short stories to music with hits like "Taxi", "W.O.L.D.", "Cats in the Cradle" and "Sequel." As a staunch supporter of the socially disenfranchised, Chapin raised over five million dollars for various causes, and he was on his way to do a benefit concert when he died in an auto accident in 1981. In this special, Chapin's wife, friends and family discuss the musical storyteller whose life ended too soon.

MTV Ultra Sound: "Biggie: A Life Story" looks at the life and career of slain rapper Notorious B.I.G. The documentary includes comments from Voletta Wallace (Biggie's mom), his wife Faith Evans, his friend and business partner Sean "Puffy" Combs and Sheena Lester, music editor for Vibe magazine.
