The former Hole frontwoman will be trying to drum up support for her solo debut, America's Sweetheart. The record was released in February and made an unimpressive Number Fifty-three debut and was ushered out of the Top 200 in less than a month. Sweetheart has yet to return to the charts.
Love's tour will put some emphasis back on her music, as the singer has been making more headlines of late for court appearances. Earlier this week she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance, stemming from an October 2003 arrest. She still faces felony drug possession charges from that same incident, in addition to assault and reckless endangerment charges from a March concert during which she allegedly struck a photographer on the head with a microphone stand.
