Coolio, who was sentenced to 10 days in prison earlier in the month for driving his car on the wrong| side of the road, will seek to vindicate his driving record by getting behind the wheel for the 1999 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race at the 25th Anniversary Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 18.

Competing against him will be a bevy of celebrities, including Carl Lewis, Donny Osmond, and Melissa Joan Hart, bka Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Coolio and the gang will first race in the qualifying session on Friday, April 16, to determine their poll position. The goal of this event is to raise more than $80,000 for "Racing for Kids," a program which raises funding for children's hospitals in Southern California, with Toyota donating $5,000 in the name of each participant, and another $5,000 to the winner's preferred charity.
