Coolio Has Album, But No Label

Coolio has recorded his fourth album and is looking for a record label to release it

Posted Mar 05, 1999 12:00 AM

Coolio is currently finishing up work on his upcoming album|, entitled Dead Man Walkin'. The album will feature guest appearances by Krayzie Bone from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, B-Real from Cypress Hill, and even country singer Kenny Rogers, for a hip-hop version of Roger's song "The Gambler." Because Coolio has left his former label, Tommy Boy Records, due to irreconcilable differences, he's begun talks with other labels, hoping to meet a projected early-summer release date. - Bonanno
