ABC American Music Awards: This national awards ceremony proudly presents "unorthodox" collaborations such as Whitney Houston with Babyface and Wyclef Jean, as well as Burt Bacharach with Elvis Costello, Blondie with Coolio, K-Ci & Jo-Jo with Next, and Trisha Yearwood with Garth Brooks. Other performers include Shawn Mullins, Backstreet Boys, Third Eye Blind, Usher and Master P with Silkk the Shocker and Mo B. Dick.


MuchMusic '98 Reading Festival: The TV broadcast of this momentous British concert features live performances from Page & Plant, New Order, Foo Fighters, Echo & the Bunnymen and others.


CBS David Letterman: The southern-fried Black Crowes whoop it up with live cuts from the critically acclaimed By Your Side, due out Tuesday (Jan. 11) on Columbia Records.
