Coolio has landed a deal to star in a TV pilot for a potential
series on UPN|. The new show is a spin-off of UPN's existing show
Malcolm & Eddie, and will feature Coolio as a
stay-home father with his wife as the family's moneymaker.
Malcolm & Eddie co-star Malcolm Jamal Warner will
direct the pilot and is expected to serve in an executive capacity
if the series gets picked up for next fall. In addition Coolio is
currently completing work on Tyrone, a film that features
him in a trio of roles which should be released by the end of the
