Collective Soul lead singer Ed Roland has teamed up with legendary string conductor Paul Buckmaster to record a track for the upcoming Scream 2 soundtrack.|

Roland recently joined Buckmaster and a 34-piece string ensemble at Capitol Records' famed Studio A for the recording of "She Said," the group's contribution to the Wes Craven film. Roland was extremely excited about appearing on the soundtrack. "I was a big fan of the first movie," Roland said. "I thought it would be really cool to be involved [with the sequel]."

The soundtrack, which will hit stores on Dec. 2, also features the likes of Sugar Ray, Foo Fighters, Tonic, Nick Cave, Master P and the Dave Matthews Band. (Ari Bendersky)
