Liverpool art rockers Clinic will tour the U.S. this fall with domestic indie favorites Apples in Stereo.

On August 6th, Universal Records will reissue Clinic's second full-length -- 2001's acclaimed Walking With Thee -- which has already sold over 25,000 copies. The first single (and title track) is expected to hit radio on July 23rd. The re-release documents the organ-driven punk that generated considerable buzz for the group after its debut, 2000's Internal Wrangler.

"If you look at all our songs, there's a strong pop element going back to things like Phil Spector, the Beach Boys and even Soft Cell," lead singer and guitarist Ade Blackburn recently told Rolling Stone. "Often with bands on our level, if they get something that approaches a good melody, they'll run a mile from it. The opposite's true for us, really."

Apples in Stereo will release their fourth album, Velocity of Sound, on October 8th, marking the band's first studio recording since 2000's The Discovery of a World Inside the Moone. On the upcoming record, the band embraces louder sounds.

"The main feel of the record is between the Ramones and the Feelies," frontman Robert Schneider told Rolling Stone. "It's very rock, and it's got layers of fuzz. It's fast, fuzzy and super catchy. I'd call it poppy, but not poppy in the vein of our previous stuff."

The bands' eighteen-date tour begins September 24th in Lexington, Kentucky, and concludes October 20th in Washington, D.C.
