When British "Tubthumpers" Chumbawumba perform on the roof of a Washington, D.C. parking garage today, let's hope they don't "get knocked down."|

The left-leaning dance-rock group, whose major label debut album Tubthumper recently went gold, is coming to the nation's capitol at the behest of alternative rock station WHFS 99.1. Chumbawamba will perform a free show from the top floor of a parking garage adjacent to the new MCI Center. The Top 20-charting group, which has been together for more than 15 years, will also play a regular concert date that night at the 9:30 Club, one of a handful of stops on its current U.S. tour.
