This Berlin art-and-music collective is a riot: smart chicks who use brain-crushing beats and refrigerated New Wave riffs to critique bourgeois liberals and the fashion-industrial complex. But underneath that, they make fun of smart chicks, too, which is priceless. They mutate the Tom Tom Club's "Wordy Rappinghood" into Casio-powered space funk, and the knee-bending beats and hilarious she-power of "We Don't Play Guitars" could give the Darkness pause: It's anti-cock rock.
