Cam'ron (a.k.a. Cameron Giles) was arrested in New York City on July 29th and charged with weapons possession, drug possession and possession of a forged fire department parking permit.

The Roc-a-Fella rapper was pulled over for a traffic violation on the West Side of Manhattan, and upon a search of his vehicle police found a .22 caliber handgun and marijuana. Cam'ron was arraigned on Tuesday, and, after pleading not guilty and posting bail, was released that day.

Cam'ron's third album (and first for Jay-Z's Roc-a-Fella), Come Home With Me, continues to be a strong seller. The record was Number Fifty-two this week, after three months of release, with sales of more than 600,000.
