Album Reviews
These fifteen tracks prove why the sixty-three-year-old Veloso is the most influential Brazilian artist of his generation. Longtime fans will argue that the singer-songwriter's finest moments took place in the Seventies and Eighties, but this expertly compiled anthology of Veloso's mature years shows him in complete command of his craft, from the ferocious urgency of 1989's "O Estrangeiro" to the orchestral languor of 2001's "Michelangelo Antonioni."
