McKnight is a pop craftsman above all, and there's enough of that on his tenth LP to stave off the sleepiness that he sometimes drifts into: The ballads cheese out some, but McKnight's studied, sturdy M.O. enlivens modestly jumpy cuts like "Can't Leave You Alone" and the hit-to-be "Used to Be My Girl."

Mcknight returns with his tenth lp "Ten" which also comes with a new label (Warner Bros.) and he delivers from start to finish displaying soft sultry ballads and uptempo mixes all the while sticking to his unique style. "Used to be my Girl" is the first single which is also the lead track, Brian sticks to his crooning abilities with "Find Myself in You" and flexes his four octave falsetto on the track "I Do" all in all a solid effort by one of R&b's greats.
