Hear it Now
Far more electronic and far less jazzy than the previous installments of Verve Remixed, this disc takes major liberties with tracks from Verve Records' vintage jazz catalog. Postal Service and Danger Mouse get wild on Nina Simone and Dinah Washington tracks until they're nearly unrecognizable, and Bent cut the tempo and pump up the existential melancholy of Billie Holiday's "Speak Low."
