(NASHVILLE) - The folks in England appreciate the hard work of the boys in BR5-49.|

On Nov. 16, the band was named best international group/duo at the British Country Music Awards in Birmingham, England. The proceedings were broadcast by the BBC. In the October issue of Playboy the hillbilly hipsters picked up a nomination for best group in the magazine's annual jazz and rock readers poll.

The group is at work on a new album, tentatively set for release in April. Among the new songs being considered for the set are "Storybook Endings," "You Flew the Coop," "My Name Is Mud" and Out of Habit."
