Damon Albarn turned his talents to sports recently to create the theme for European football coverage on Britain's Channel 5. The Blur frontman and avid football fan| used the opportunity to sneak in a plug for his favorite football club, Chelsea. This should play nicely into the bitter feud between Blur and Oasis. The two bands have been involved in public and private mudslinging for several years as their albums have run neck and neck on the British charts. The Oasis lads are sworn Manchester United fans -- mortal enemies of Chelsea. (BB)
