A fugitive for almost three weeks, Black Rob (a.k.a. Robert Ross) was arrested Tuesday after turning himself in at the Manhattan Criminal Court in New York. He faces a felony charge of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.

Rob, thirty-one, was arrested on May 21 by New York Police when they saw him pass a pistol to an associate in his car while signing an autograph for a fan on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Both Black Rob and his friend, Kwame Thomas, were arrested. According to the Manhattan District Attorney's office, Rob was released on $10,000 bail and scheduled to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court on May 26, but failed to show, prompting a bench warrant for his arrest. The Bad Boy Entertainment rapper was remanded and is being held without bail. Without an appeal, he will remain there until his next court date on Aug. 29.

Calls to Bad Boy were unanswered at press time.
