Cooking Vinyl To Release New Bragg And Cope LPs in U.S.
(NEW YORK) - Cooking Vinyl America is increasing
exposure in the U.S. for three U.K. acts. The label will release a
seven-track offering from Billy Bragg, Bloke
On Bloke (More From The William Bloke Sessions), in July in
the U.S. as an import only. The collection of singles, previously
released only in the U.K., includes the track "The Boy Done Good."
Due in the U.S. on Aug. 20 is Julian Cope's
Interpreter, his first release for the label. Finally,
Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine, which has been
called "the punk Pet Shop Boys," hits the road
July 16 in Boston for two weeks of U.S. shows. The band is touring
behind its album A World Without Dave; the U.S. version on
Cooking Vinyl contains three bonus tracks not available in the
U.K.
