Album Reviews
This posse record finds B.G. and some New Orleans homeys dropping
action-packed rhymes backed by big beats that augment Dirty South bounce
with good stuff like the minimalist, phone-tone-inflected jump of "It's
Real." Befitting a (former) Cash Money boy like B.G., filler is a
problem. But tracks like the club-rocking single "Make 'Em Mad" make boasting
about riches and asserting your badassedness sound like hot fun on a
Friday night.
