"No we didn't really write it with him in mind," says vocalist Bianca Butthole of Ice's guest spot on "Size Queen." "We had written the song, and recorded it, but something was missing. I wanted to cut that section out, or just put guitars over it, because it sounded so empty. When we went into Sound City studio in Los Angeles, Vanilla Ice was there too and one day while we were bonding over Krispy Kreme donuts, I asked him, 'Could you rap over that?' He said, 'Yeah, and then I said, 'Can you rap about how big your dick is?' And after a minute he said, 'I can rap over anything.'
According to Butthole, Ice freestyled his entire portion of the song in just under five minutes, bragging "I'm Vanilla Ice. You know I got it all, a long white dick almost ten inches tall."
The band's fifteen-song album was produced by Matt Hyde ( Porno for Pyros, Monster Magnet) and is set for a May 15th release. Are You Man Enough is Betty Blowtorch's first full-length album, following their EP, Get Off which was produced by former Guns n' Roses bassist Duff McKagan. "Yeah, he told us a lot of Axl Rose stories, but I don't think I should repeat them," Butthole says.
The band -- Butthole along with lead guitarist Blair N. Bitch, guitarist/vocalist Sharon Needles and drummer Judy Molish -- can also be seen later this year in the upcoming comedy, Bubble Boy, filling a role originally intended for Ozzy Osbourne. "I don't know why Ozzy couldn't do it," Butthole says. "[The film's producers] wanted Kittie to replace him, but they got our album and heard us and asked us to come in and do our song 'Hell on Wheels,' and ended up building a whole scene around us."
