New Belle and Sebastian in June

Music inspired by "Storytelling" band's first album in two years

Belle and Sebastian will release Storytelling, their first full-length album of new material in two years, on June 4th. Several songs on the album are featured in Todd Solondz's new film of the same name, while the rest were written for the project but not included.

The chamber pop outfit released a pair of EPs late last year, Jonathan David and I'm Waking Up to Us, while their last album, Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant, was released in 2000.

Belle and Sebastian will return to the U.S. for a ten-date tour this spring, beginning with an April 26th appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien followed by the Coachella festival in Indio, California, on the 28th.

For the U.S. dates the band is considering reprising its scavenger hunt contest, in which fans won tickets to shows by following a series of clues on the band's Web site.
