Despite Weird Al Yankovic's repeated efforts to dissuade CBS executives, it looks like the all-male Canadian band Barenaked Ladies will be banned from his Saturday morning television special. BNL, who perform fun-loving if marginally insipid pop songs, are often under the gun for their name. Weird Al reportedly is disappointed, but feels there is nothing he can do. (IJ)
