Just because Bad Religion frontman Greg Graffin busied himself
writing the book
Band-Aid: The Music Industry from a Band's
Perspective last year, doesn't mean he's given up his
recording career. For the punkers' fourteenth album, Graffin looked
to the past and tapped production time-traveler -- and notorious
studio drill sergeant -- Todd Rundgren. And to celebrate the finish
of the very intense studio experience, Bad Religion will purge
themselves of all their demons (and Rundgren's too) by setting out
on a small West Coast tour. The as-yet-untitled album will be
released on May 9, after which the band will head out on the road
again, with public nudists Blink-182.
The dates for Bad Religion's upcoming tour are as follows:
2/29: Petaluma, Calif., Phoenix Theatre
3/1: Santa Cruz, Calif., The Catalyst
3/2: San Francisco Maritime Hall
3/3: Reno, Nev., Reno Live
3/4: Ventura, Calif., Ventura Theatre
3/5: San Diego, Activity Center
3/7-8: Pomono, Calif., Glass House
3/10: Phoenix, Ariz., Nile Theatre
3/11: Las Vegas, The Joint
