Bad Religion Confirmed For Warped Tour '98

Bad Religion has been confirmed to play Warped Tour '98, according to a spokeswoman for the tour.|

The Los Angeles-based alternative punk band will take the cutting-edge tour, which has featured the likes of Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Descendents and Reel Big Fish, out on the road. German punk band Die Toten Hosen has also been confirmed for the tour, which will kick off on the West Coast in July, our source said.

Meanwhile, Warped organizers are bringing their fest Down Under this winter for the first time. The tour kicks off on Jan. 9 in Auckland, New Zealand and features 311, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, Blink 182, Royal Crown Revue, Pennywise and Vandals performing alongside some of the world's top alternative athletes. Following their stay in Australia and New Zealand, the group will travel to Japan and Hawaii before heading back to the States. (Ari Bendersky)
