Backstreet Boys Beef Up Tour

Fan demand forces BSBs to tack on tour dates

Posted Dec 15, 2000 12:00 AM

With most of their North American tour dates sold out, the Backstreet Boys have added thirteen dates to their tour behind Black & Blue to accommodate fans in several cities.

Fans in Ft. Lauderdale, the group's home turf and the launch city for the tour, will have two more chances to get tickets. In addition to the Jan. 22 date, the group will play there on Jan. 23 and 24. The BSBs have also added a single date in each of the following cities: Philadelphia; Uniondale, N.Y.; Pittsburgh; Chicago; Tacoma, Wash.; Oakland; Sacramento; Las Vegas; Phoenix; Los Angeles and San Diego. The changes to the itinerary will not affect the concerts previously scheduled. After touring South America and Europe, the Boys will return to the U.S. in August and September of 2001.
