Ashanti will publish Foolish/Unfoolish, a collection of poetry and other writings, in November . . . Aerosmith's new two-CD anthology, O, Yeah, will be released on July 2nd. The album will feature two new tracks, "Girls of Summer" and "Lay It Down" . . . A 1999 Ford Mustang once owned by Eminem is being auctioned by a Detroit-area auto dealer; partial proceeds will be donated to the Macomb Literacy Project . . . Two songwriters, Michael Cottrill and Larry Wnukowski, filed suit against Britney Spears on June 7th, accusing her of copyright violations over two songs featured on her album, Oops! . . . No Wave pioneer Kristian Hoffman releases &, his first album in five years, this week. The album includes fifteen duets with guests including Rufus Wainwright, Maria McKee and Paul Reubens (a.k.a. Pee Wee Herman) . . . Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP will be the subject of VH1's "Ultimate Albums on June 16th, with commentary from Eminem, Snoop Dogg and others. Albums by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Meat Loaf and Run-D.M.C. will be the subject of other episodes this summer . . . Ray Charles and Jermaine Dupri will receive the Heroes Award from the Atlanta chapter of the Recording Academy in a ceremony on July 18th . . . Randy Travis will release a new two-CD retrospective, Trail of Memories: The Randy Travis Anthology, on July 16th . . .

Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Phil Lesh and Friends, Lucinda Williams and the Allman Brothers Band are among the acts lined up for Summerfest 2002, which is slated for June 27th through July 7th in Milwaukee . . . Jimmy Buffett will bring his Margaritaville restaurant to the Flamingo in Las Vegas in the fall of 2003 . . . Insane Clown Posse will hold their Gathering of the Juggalos festival in Peoria, Illininois, from June 19-21 . . . Morrissey has lined up a fifteen-date U.S. tour that will begin on August 1st in Salt Lake City . . . C-Murder (a.k.a. Corey Miller)'s trial on a charge of second-degree murder will begin on September 17th; Miller is accused of shooting a man after an argument in a club in Harvey, Louisiana . . .

Wyclef Jean, Sleater-Kinney, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Donnas will perform at the Siren Festival in Brooklyn, New York, on July 20th . . . Korn has added eight dates to their tour behind Untouchables; the jaunt begins July 17th in Roanoke, Virginia . . . A Corpus Christi, Texas, judge ordered the destruction of the gun used to kill Selena, after the gun was found in the home of a court reporter . . . Former Beach Boys guitarist Al Jardine filed a legal malpractice suit against his attorney, Vincent H. Chiefo, for allegedly mishandling Jardine's recent legal tangles with his ex-band mates . . .
