Bust out the BBQ and grab that can of lighter fluid because the Arsonists are having a homecoming at Fat Beats| in New York City. The group will spark the grill, perform and sign autographs to celebrate their first full-length release, As the World Burns, from Matador Records.

Fellow Matador artist and Non-Phixion DJ, Eclipse, who is also a manager at independent hip-hop's epicenter, says the group's return to Fat Beats is important because that's where it all started. "Man, Q-Unique used to work here," he says. "This is like a big family thing."

The group will be at Fat Beats, located at 406 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, from 4 to 7 p.m.

On Friday, at Manhattan's Bowery Ballroom the Arsonists will hold a dual album release party with The High and Mighty whose Rawkus-released debut album, Home Field Advantage, drops on Tuesday. Doors for the Friday show are at 8 p.m. - Eric Gillin
