Of all the ensembles birthed by Fela Kuti's magic saxophone, Brooklyn's Antibalas are the best from this corner of the globe. Their mostly instrumental third album is a little long on the jazz-fusion stuff, but their James Brown horns and cross-continental funk work up free-flowing hippie jams for nonhippies.
