alice in chains is freakin amazing. and this cd proves it. every song is awesome. it should be in rolling stones top 500 albums. i don't know why it's not. but everything about this album is great; it's no wonder most of the new post-grunge bands are influenced by these guys. im glad their back together and touring and possibly making new music. though it'll never be the same with out layne, i'm sure they can still make great music. r.i.p. layne staley.

This album is certainly top 5 all time, and certainly in
contention for the title of "best album of all time".
Dirt spells out perfectly the frustrations & regrets of
one addicted to drugs. The vocals, instrumentation, and
lyrics are virtually flawless, thus comprising one of rock's
greatest efforts.
"Junkhead" is my personal favorite, but it's just one
outstanding track amongst many!
Dirt: Certainly one of the 90's' best albums.
