Recorded in Paris with help from Nigel Godrich (Radiohead), the album is the follow-up to 2001's 10,000 Hz Legend. Godrich also worked with the band on their collaboration with Italian author Alessandro Baricco, City Reading, which came out earlier this year.
On Talkie Walkie, for the first time, Air's JB Dunckel and Nicholas Godin account for all the vocals, including tracks like the otherwordly "Run" and the closer, "Alone in Kyoto," which is featured in director Sofia Coppola's current film Lost in Translation. In 2000, Dunckel and Godin -- who debuted with 1998's acclaimed Moon Safari -- composed the soundtrack to Coppola's directorial debut, The Virgin Sucides.
